PRIVATE IN-CAR LESSONS FOR ADULTS

  • If you are under 18, you are required to take the full driver education course.
  • If you are a Non-US Citizen, review these requirements before signing up.
 

FULL Adult Driver Ed Course:

  • Includes 30 hours of classroom instruction on driving theory and NH driving laws. In-car includes (10) 1 hour lessons covering pre-driving habits, turns, backing, city driving, parallel parking, angle parking, head-in parking, reverse head in parking, rural and night driving, special driving techniques, expressway driving and a road test review.
  • Good for unlicensed adults, Select Course Date on Teen page.
  • Tuition $895. Minus $100 Discount =$795, if you sign up before the end of the month.

Refresher Course:

  • 5-Lessons of individual personalized instruction for students with limited experience.
  • We will review the rules of the road and customize your lessons to develop your driving skills and habits that you need.
  • This is required by the state, if you failed your driving test 3 times.
  • Tuition- $445.

 

Road Lesson Course:

  • 10 Private Lessons (our complete driving program starting right at the beginning and covering all the techniques required of a licensed driver).
  • In - depth instruction includes: Pre-driving Habits, Backing, City Driving, Parking, Night and Rural Driving, Emergency Techniques, Expressway Driving and Review.
  • Good for adults who have road experience.
  • Tuition - $890.

Policy/Enrollment:

  • Adult driving lessons are designed to help individuals of any age learn to improve their driving skills and overcome anxiety.
  • We teach 7 days a week to accommodate all our students.
  • We offer On-road Experience, Road Test Prep and Written Test Preparation. 
  • Students may drive only one hour a day, lessons begin and end at the driving school at 6 Temple Street, Nashua.
  • If a student is unable to drive at the time scheduled, S/he must give at least a 24 hour notice by calling (603-882-7443) leave message.
  • Each time is student fails to keep an appointment at $75 no-show fee is charged and no further lessons will be offered until it's paid. No excuses accepted!
  • if there was a language barrier, the student must bring an interpreter for every lesson. If no interpreter, the lesson is canceled and you are charged a $75 no-show fee.

Non-U.S. Citizens

Non-U.S. citizens temporarily residing in NH and Non-U.S. citizens without a valid driver's license from their home country, a Green Card, or an Employment Authorization Card must complete the Full Driver Education Course consisting of 30 hours of classroom instruction, 10 hours of in-car instruction and 6 hours of in-car observation.

Home Practice is Essential

The State of New Hampshire recommends having at least 40 hours of driving practice before getting your license. During driving practice, you must have proof of your age in the vehicle and be accompanied by a licensed driver at least 25 years old. 

We recommend practicing driving in a residential area, but stay in New Hampshire because other states have permit laws. We also recommend studying the New Hampshire Driver's Manual. The driver's manual is also available at a DMV sub-station.
